The Watkins Museum of History recently received two awards from the Kansas Museums Association. Our graphic novel The Rescue of John Doy received an Award for Graphic Design, while our lesson plan series Seeking a More Perfect Union, the Underground Railroad: Experiences of Freedom Seekers received a Technology Award. These awards were presented to Watkins staff at the November 2024 KMA Conference in Fort Scott.
