Special guest Ilene Kimsey joins Joel and Natalie in this episode to share the origin story of the Maple Leaf Festival in Baldwin City, Kansas. Ilene is part of the Maple Leaf Festival Committee and has been working with Brittany Keegan, the Watkins Museum’s Curator, over the last five years on an exhibit series depicting the Maple Leaf Festival’s history.
